He has experience in most aspects of reinsurance including treaty and facultative property and casualty; commercial and personal lines; traditional and program business. His primary areas of focus have been workers’ compensation, catastrophe exposed property, and private passenger automobile.

Tim has been in the re/insurance industry for 20 years with the experience as both the buyer and seller of reinsurance. His experience has been focused on catastrophe exposed commercial and personal lines property insurance. In addition to his reinsurance experience, Tim has a strong appreciation for data first in his analytical approach to help inform making the best decisions for the company. His previous roles included the responsibility of catastrophe modeling, portfolio management, operations and underwriting.

Tim began his career with Arch Reinsurance Company and then moved to the primary side spending time running operations, underwriting, actuarial and managing a Louisiana based property insurance carrier. Most recently Tim holds the position of Chief Risk Officer for Cypress Property and Casualty Insurance Company based out of Jacksonville Florida.
